Whitewater Rafting Tour Details
The whitewater rafting tour starts in a magical place surround by lush vegetation. The boisterous rapids on the Tenorio River provide rapids, turns and drops that will make you feel alive with that rush of adrenaline. For those visitors who are already rafting addicts, this trip is a must. Endless challenges are presented as you plummet through twists, turns and drops! Most importantly to rafting aficionados, there are 8 miles of action-packed Class 3 and 4 rapids.
What to bring: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen complete change of clothes, wading shoes
Costa Rica is renowned as The White Water Rafting Capital of the world due to its many wild rivers. These drop steeply from volcanic mountain gorges to the ocean. And of course, the great thing about rafting is that you can do it in any weather – its raining? No problem, we guarantee you are going to get wet even if its bright and sunny.
The scenic Tenorio River descend tortuously down through the Guanacaste mountain range through a deep red rock canyon. The landscapes are a magnificent mix of tropical forest types with an abundance of exotic bird life.
We provide a hotel pick-up and drop-off service. There is a 2 hour drive to the point where you transfer to 4WD vehicle. You then travel over back roads to the river put-in location at the bridge over the Río Tenorio.
Guides provide a full safety briefing and fit you with helmets, lifejackets and paddles. After a brief practice session, your guide commences the thrilling 2.5-hour rafting trip through the Tenorio River canyon. You will enjoy 22 exciting rapids along the 20 kilometers of river. Fruit snack are provided. You will see wildlife along the way;

The rafting trip concludes with the adrenaline-pumping 12-foot Cascabel Falls waterfall drop!
On arrival at the end point, there is brief hike to the 4WD vehicle which will take you back out of the jungle. We help you celebrate the enjoyment of the day by providing a delicious lunch. We will then get you back your hotel.
